President

Dr. Colleen Lehnert

Picture
Dr. Colleen Lehnert is a Naturopathic Doctor practicing at the Miramichi Naturopathic Health Clinic. Colleen was born in St. John's, Newfoundland but moved to Miramichi at the age of 3 and lived in Newcastle her whole life. After graduating from MVHS, she made her way to Dalhousie University in Halifax for a four year Undergraduate degree where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Psychology - where her passion for Mental Health grew deep. Naturopathic Medicine drew Colleen in because of how it intertwined Mental Health, Physical Health, and Medicine. After attending four intense years at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto - She made her way back to her hometown to set up practice, where she was lucky enough to join Dr. Crystal Charest' practice!

Colleen hopes to continue to advocate for the importance of Mental Health awareness in our community. On her spare time, she also works part time at APERO Lounge, owned and run by one of her best friends. She lives in Chatham with her partner, Jamie and their energetic pup named Lenny. Colleen has set a goal for herself to be sure to enjoy the outdoors as much as possible and much of her spare time is spent in the woods or snowshoeing the trails available in Miramichi. Colleen is looking forward to another exciting year on WOMEN, especially with her new role of President!

Vice President & Social Media Director

Danielle Williston

Picture
Danielle Williston was born and raised in Seattle, Washington and she immigrated to Miramichi in August 2018. She always had a passion for fashion and thrived in a team environment which lead her straight to H&M. She started her 10 year career as a full time sales associate and worked her way up to becoming the Downtown Seattle Flagship Store Manager. People development and training are her strongest skills but her most memorable highlights were launching designer collaborations with Versace, Marni, Mason Martin Margeila, Balmain, and Alexander Wang. In April 2015, she met her now husband while running the H&M pop-up shop at the Coachella Music Festival in Palm Springs, California. They moved to San Fransisco where they eloped and shortly after got pregnant. Living in a large city with no family around was difficult so they knew moving to her husbands hometown in Canada was the right choice. After waiting 2 years for her immigration to finalize she finally received her Canadian Permanent Residency and the ability to legally work again just before the Coronavirus hit in March of 2020. She is currently a stay at home mom of her 3-year-old son while also working a causal Customer Experience Representative position at Cannabis NB. While still on the hunt for her dream job she says its fun to be back in retail sales!

Danielle joined WOMEN back in January 2019 in hopes to surround herself with like minded women and make friends. In 2020 she joined the Board of Directors and was assigned to assist with the Social Media as a specialist. Wanting to do more this year and still have a hand with the social media she knew going for an executive role was next on her list! She is the biggest Seahawks Football Fan and an overall lover or sports. Tacos and pickles are the way to her heart and she loves concerts and comedy shows.

Secretary

Erin Mclean

Picture
Erin Mclean was born and raised in Miramichi but she didn't always live here. She moved back to raise her now 9 year old daughter, be closer to her support system, and overall Miramichi is just a great place to raise a family. Not only is Erin a full time mom but she is a working her way through University to get her Business Degree. She spent 10 years working in the service industry, managing restaurants and hosting events from planning to execution. Erin shifted gears in 2018 and became a public servant. She is a passionate and driven person who has always had a desire to be involved in non for profit organizations who support her community. She enjoys giving back and seeing the results of her commitments.

She has always enjoyed cooking and baking gluten free treats since she is a celiac. She recently purchased a pampered chef air fryer and it has completely changed her life! She also enjoys live music and traveling to the beach in the summer.

Erin joined WOMEN because just like her she knew this organization gives back to the community by creating bonds and empowering other women to do the things they love. She is excited for her first year as a member and as part of the Board of Directors. She is looking forward to a great year with some wonderful events!
